I do not rememer now why I set up this blog in the first place. I have never posted anything here.

I would say that I am disappointed in many things as we begin the 2009 year.

1. The seeming lack of integrity by our new government
2. The lack of intelligence shown by the speaker of the house
3. The loss of key recruits to USC, UCLA, Florida.......
4. Weiss not addressing the need for a true OC

But to focus on the positive I believe that things have to turn around. The Irish have been here before and have excelled. We have strong line coaches for the first time since the little general left. The program is getting coverage (good or bad) on a regular basis. We have a media network that hates us which, in the past, has given the program the needed chip on it's shoulder mentality. Our AD, although misterious, seems to have a clue.

Most improtantly we have a clean house. The memories (and ND criticism) of the Willingham and Davies' eras are fading. We have a solid recruiting and coaching staff that has it's own group of players in the fold. Weiss can now succeed or fail on his own merit.
